RIVT Terms of Service

Effective July 4, 2026. RIVT is a professional network for contractors, subcontractors, skilled tradespeople, and crews. It is not a homeowner lead marketplace, payroll provider, escrow service, legal adviser, or licensing authority.

Use of RIVT

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, work posts, messages, records, photos, invoices, estimates, and community contributions. You may not use RIVT to misrepresent qualifications, harvest contact information, spam users, or post unsafe, illegal, or discriminatory content.

Work Relationships

Contractors and tradespeople are responsible for licensing, permits, insurance, tax obligations, site safety, payment terms, and compliance with applicable laws. RIVT helps users connect and keep records, but it does not employ users or guarantee work outcomes.

Payments and Subscriptions

RIVT may offer subscriptions for platform access or advanced tools. Job payments between users are separate from RIVT unless a future feature explicitly states otherwise. Subscription cancellation must remain available from account settings without requiring a phone call or support ticket.

Community Safety

Shop Talk posts and answers may be reported, hidden, locked, or moderated. Advice about electrical, gas, structural, legal, or life-safety work should be verified with qualified professionals and local code authorities.
