RIVT Privacy Policy

Effective July 4, 2026. RIVT collects account, profile, community, job, message, billing, upload, and support information needed to operate the skilled trades network.

Information We Store

We may store your email, name, role, service area, specialties, profile details, posts, answers, reports, messages, job records, media uploads, subscription status, support cases, device/session metadata, and audit logs.

How Information Is Used

We use information to authenticate accounts, operate the platform, prevent abuse, support users, moderate Shop Talk, improve safety, and provide subscriptions and records.

Visibility

Profile visibility, contact visibility, and job address sharing are controlled by product rules. Exact jobsite addresses are not public. Contact details should only be shared when appropriate for a real work relationship.

Uploads

Photos and attachments are stored in managed cloud object storage when uploaded. Some tools may also keep browser-local drafts on your device.
